KalshiTrader Privacy Policy

Lesos AI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates KalshiTrader, an Android mobile application that provides automated prediction market trading on the Kalshi exchange. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the KalshiTrader app.

By using KalshiTrader, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use the app.

Information We Collect

Account & Authentication

• Email address and password for Kalshi account linking
• Google account information via Google Sign-In (Google ID token, email, display name)
• Session tokens for authentication
• Kalshi brokerage credentials (encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM)

Financial & Trading Data

• Kalshi portfolio positions (tickers, quantities, entry prices, profit/loss)
• Trade execution history (orders placed, fills, exits)
• Account balance information from the Kalshi API
• AI analysis results and trade signals
• Market category preferences (e.g., fed rates, CPI, GDP, employment, crypto, weather, politics, earnings)

Device & Technical Data

• Device information and operating system version
• Firebase Cloud Messaging token for push notifications
• IP address
• Crash reports and performance data
• Analytics events (anonymized usage patterns)

Billing

Subscription status is managed entirely through Google Play In-App Purchases. KalshiTrader does not directly collect or store credit card or payment information.

How Your Data Is Used

• Kalshi credentials: Used solely to execute trades on your behalf via the Kalshi API
• Google Sign-In: Used for authentication and account linking
• Portfolio data: Used for position monitoring, exit strategy evaluation, and profit/loss tracking
• Push notification tokens: Used to send trade alerts and position exit notifications
• Analytics & crash data: Used to improve app stability and performance
• Market preferences: Used to filter which market categories the AI trades on your behalf

Data Storage & Security

• All API communication is encrypted over HTTPS
• HMAC request signing for backend authentication
• Rate limiting on all API endpoints
• Sensitive tokens stored on-device via Android Keystore-backed secure storage
• Backend infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure

Third-Party Services

KalshiTrader integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Kalshi (kalshi.com) — Prediction market exchange where trades are executed via their API
• Google Play Billing — Subscription and payment management
• Google Sign-In — OAuth authentication
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — Push notifications
• Sentry (sentry.io) — Crash reporting and error monitoring
• PostHog — Product analytics
• Google Gemini — AI market analysis (no user personal information is sent, only market data)

Data Sharing

• Kalshi credentials are sent only to Kalshi's API for trade execution
• Crash reports sent to Sentry may include device information but not financial data
• Analytics events sent to PostHog are anonymized usage patterns

Your Rights & Controls

You have the following controls over your data within KalshiTrader:

• Automated trading: Enable or disable at any time via the in-app kill switch
• Market categories: Configure which categories the AI is allowed to trade
• Log out: Clears local session tokens from your device
• Account deletion: Request full deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
• Data access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Data correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• Event and activity logs are stored on the backend server
• You may request deletion of all your data at any time
• Upon account deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days

Children's Privacy

KalshiTrader is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
